Thank you for entrusting Sealer's Choice with your driveway.
Following are some care and maintenance items to assist you in keeping your driveway in good shape for many years.
The first days are crucial. Please:
Do not drive on your new driveway for 28 hours.
Or if surface is tacky to touch.
Cracks may appear due to movement in the base and/or subsoil during a freeze or thaw cycle. Movement can also result from water seeping under the driveway. Water seepage can be due to landscape design, too much rain or over-watering. In Maryland, cracking is unavoidable and is not covered under warranty. Keeping the cracks filled and your driveway seal coated will help keep your driveway in good condition.
Using a quality seal coat will increase the life and appearance of your driveway. Seal Coating your driveway will lock in the existing oils to keep the asphalt flexible which reduces cracking. It is very important that you use only a quality seal coat. Please call us for additional information and an estimate.
Thank you again for your business!
* For those driveways paved in the fall, please note that the curing process for asphalt goes dormant during the winter months and starts again in the spring. Be sure to consider this fact when calculating the cure date of your driveway.
